Mission Statement
The Patapsco Valley Chapter, Barbershop Harmony Society, is a growing organization of members dedicated to the achievement of excellence in singing of four-part a cappella harmony.
Our mission is:
- to engender an appreciation for the highest order of vocal harmony in chorus, to foster quartet singing, and encourage new membership;
- to challenge, encourage, and improve the development of each member in vocal and performance skills;
- to bring quality entertaining performances to an ever-widening audience;
- to promote fellowship, singing, listening to and enjoying Barbershop music as an original American art form.
